The main idea behind the project is to coordinate the activities of individual regional convention bureaus in the Czech Republic, educating and establishing a certain level of service in each conference region, and assisting them in presenting a solid overall product. The Czech Convention Bureau has also been formed effectively coordinate all marketing activities used for communicating with partners abroad and potential clients interested in holding meetings, incentive events, conferences or exhibitions in the Czech republic. The Czech Convention Bureau is working to harmonize the presentations of all the regions of the Czech Republic. Its representatives have been promoting the Czech Republic as a conference destination by attending professional trade fairs in different regions and participating in familiarization and press trips. The Czech Convention Bureau has been seeking potential contacts and cooperates closely with international associations including the ICCA, and it is preparing a print ad to run in professional publications along with common promotional materials.
The following regional agencies are currently registered in the project: the Carlsbad Convention Bureau, Tourism Headquarters – Southern Moravia, Tourism Headquarters – Eastern Moravia, the Destination Management Company East Bohemia, the Tourism Office of the South Bohemia region, the North Bohemia Convention Bureau, the North West Bohemia Convention Bureau, the Pilsen Convention Bureau, the Prague Convention Bureau and the Moravian-Silesian Convention Bureau. Negotiations are being held with other regional agencies, who have expressed interest in joint coordination of conference and event organizing.
