In the town of Lednice, they enjoyed a traditional Moravian lunch and watched a short presentation about the South Moravian Region activities. Then they visited the Lednice Chateau, its gardens and minaret (UNESCO sites), and tasted traditional local wine in the cellars of the town of Valtice. They were accommodated in the Galant Hotel in the town of Mikulov, where they visited the castle and a wine cellar.
Their stay further included a visit to the city of Brno, where they had a traditional lunch in the famous Stopkova pivnice pub, visited Hotel International Brno, Besední dům (Community Hall), Barceló Brno Palace, Brno Fairs and Exhibitions, the Holiday Inn Congress Centre, and Kaskáda Golf Resort. They discovered the city atmosphere during a guided tour which took them to the Špilberk Castle, St. Peter and Paul’s Cathedral, the Cabbage Market and the underground labyrinth.
After arriving in Prague, the FamTrip participants enjoyed a visit to the Prague Castle organised by Kuoni Destination Management, and to the only private palace within the Castle – Lobkowicz Palace. Then, a traditional Czech lunch in Klášterní šenk (Monastery taproom) in the Břevnov Monastery followed, prepared by Intercatering. After the lunch, the guests visited Hotel Kempinski Hybernská Prague, Obecní dům (Municipal Hall), an Art Nouveau style French restaurant, and Kampa Park. They also discovered the inspiring beauty of Prague through a walk in the Old Town, while paying a call to traditional manufacture shops. They ended the day by dining in style in Žofín Garden (dinner prepared by Zátiší Catering Group).
On their last day, after visiting the Clarion Congress Hotel Prague, they took part in a workshop with regional members of the Czech Convention Bureau. On the way to the airport they stopped at the Crowne Plaza Prague deluxe Hotel.
